Kayla Bisinger

Kayla is one of our athletic trainers at Performance Therapies, who is the full-time athletic trainer for all athletes at Kirkwood Community College.

Kayla grew up in rural Monmouth, Iowa on her family farm. She earned her BA in Athletic Training at the University of Northern Iowa and her Masters in Sports Management at the University of Dubuque. While attending the University of Northern Iowa, she worked with the University of Northern Iowa football, wrestling, softball, and track teams, Hawkeye Community College athletics, and various high school teams in the Cedar Valley area. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Dubuque while pursing her master’s degree.  

I came to Performance because of the opportunity to make a positive impact in young athletes lives as Performance Therapies does in their patients’ lives.
