Nick has worked at Performance Therapies since 2017 with an emphasis on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
He is also an adjunct faculty member in the University of Iowa’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.
During his time at Performance, Nick has gone on to complete additional training in a variety of areas, receiving certifications in Dry Needling, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and baseball pitching evaluation through OnBaseU. Additionally, he is an Exos Performance Specialist and is certified in the Fitness Pain Free system.
He enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and he strives to help each patient achieve optimal outcomes and reach their individual goals by integrating the latest evidence-based exercise prescriptions and manual therapy techniques. Also, he is one of the Athletic Trainers at Kirkwood Community College.
In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active in a variety of outdoor activities, and following University of Iowa athletics.
What is your favorite season?
My favorite season is summer, as I love the warm weather and ability to be outdoors all the time doing various activities.
What is your favorite hobby?
My favorite hobby is fishing. I love being able to spend a day out on the water relaxing and catching fish.
What is your favorite channel?
My favorite channel has to be ESPN. I love watching sports in my spare time, especially if the Hawkeyes are playing!
