Ryan Spence

Ryan is the newest addition to the Performance Therapies team, joining as a physical therapist at the Coralville and Kalona clinics. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with his undergrad. He pursued his DPT at the University of Iowa.

With a strong background in rehabilitation and movement science, he is dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance overall function. His patient-centered approach ensures that each individual receives a customized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Ryan is passionate about guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, whether they are recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or striving to prevent future injuries. He emphasizes evidence-based techniques, hands-on manual therapy, and functional exercises to optimize recovery. His commitment to ongoing education and professional development allows him to integrate the latest advancements in physical therapy into his practice.

At the Coralville and Kalona clinics, Ryan looks forward to building strong relationships with his patients and the community. Favorite vacation and why: My most memorable vacation was a two-week trip to Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Germany. Among these four countries, Belgium stood out as my favorite. Its rich beer culture, abundance of fries and waffles, and other countless other attractions made it an unforgettable experience.
