Meet Grace Bischke: Welcoming a New Physical Therapist to Performance Therapies in Coralville
Performance Therapies is excited to welcome Grace Bischke, PT, DPT, to our Coralville clinic! Grace joins our team with a passion for helping people move better, recover from injury, and get back to doing the activities they love. She is now accepting new patients and looks forward to serving the Coralville community with personalized, evidence-based physical therapy.
A Passion for Helping Others Move
Grace earned her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Minnesota. Throughout physical therapy school, she completed four clinical rotations, including three in outpatient orthopedic settings, where she gained experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and movement-related injuries.
Her journey into physical therapy began with a personal experience. As a high school dancer, Grace sustained a significant hip injury that required surgery and extensive rehabilitation. During that time, she experienced firsthand the impact a compassionate physical therapist can have, not only by helping patients heal physically but by building meaningful relationships throughout the recovery process.
“Physical therapy felt like the perfect intersection of my passion for movement, the human body, and connecting with people,” Grace says.
Returning to Performance Therapies
Performance Therapies already feels like home for Grace. During physical therapy school, she completed one of her clinical rotations with our team, giving her the opportunity to learn alongside experienced clinicians while providing care to patients in the Coralville community.
Now, she is excited to return as a full-time physical therapist.
“I’m looking forward to getting plugged into the community, treating patients, and working alongside some of the best therapists around.”
At Performance Therapies, Grace is committed to helping every patient feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, healing from a sports injury, or simply looking to move without pain, she is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans that help you reach your goals.
