Grace Bischke (Foss), PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at Performance Therapies, Coralville clinic. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Minnesota.
Grace’s journey into physical therapy began after experiencing a significant hip injury as a high school dancer. During her rehabilitation, she saw firsthand how a physical therapist could make a meaningful impact, not only by helping patients recover physically, but by genuinely caring for them as individuals. That experience, combined with her lifelong fascination with movement and the human body, inspired her to pursue a career where she could build lasting relationships while helping others return to the activities they love.
While in physical therapy school, Grace completed four clinical rotations, including three in outpatient orthopedic settings. One of those rotations was at Performance Therapies, where she quickly connected with the team and the patient-centered approach to care. She is excited to return as a full-time physical therapist and looks forward to serving the Coralville community while collaborating with an exceptional team of clinicians.
Outside the clinic, Grace enjoys staying active through running and has completed a full marathon. She recently married her husband in July 2026, a day she describes as one of the best of her life. She also loves traveling, with her favorite adventure being a college study abroad trip through Israel, Palestine, Switzerland, France, and Greece. When she’s relaxing, you’ll likely find her enjoying a bowl of ice cream or reading her favorite novel, The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.
