Linea attended Hesston College in Hesston, Kansas where she played volleyball for 2 years and earned an Associate of Science degree in 2008. She then transferred to the University of Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Physiology (2010) and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2012).
Linea’s special interest include Women’s Health and Dry Needling. She has taken specialized courses for treating women’s health patients through Herman & Wallace. She has also received additional training and certifications in dry needling through Myopain Seminars (Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist).
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Iowa City and currently live in Cedar Rapids with my husband, daughter and son.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, gardening, golfing, reading and cheering on the Hawkeyes and Kansas City Chiefs. You can also find me planning a Disney trip at any given time.
What drew you to Physical Therapy?
I like helping patients learn how to help themselves, and love the collaborative experience between therapist and patient.
